Wally is easily recognisable by his tusks. Walruses used to be hunted for their tusks, and many have now disappeared. Fortunately, much is being done today to protect the walrus population, but it is still a vulnerable species. But you can add Wally to your decor with complete peace of mind. Wally is designed by Chresten Sommer, who has designed several of our popular wooden characters. Wally is related to two of Chresten’s first products, Mama Seal (Hunsæl) and Baby Seal (babysæl), and they look particularly cute when you line them up side by side. Together, Wally, Mama Seal and Baby Seal form a small Arctic family in our large family of wooden animals.
