ESG & CSR

Spring Copenhagen is dedicated to making products that are not only beautiful, decorative and functional, but also responsible from start to finish. Our approach to ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) and the implementation of the associated principles is an integral part of our business strategy, and we strive to improve our efforts in these three areas.

For a greener future

We understand the importance of protecting our planet, which is why we make every effort to reduce our environmental footprint. Firstly, our products are designed to have a long life, which helps to minimise resource consumption and waste. We are also concerned with the impact of our materials on the environment, and make conscious material choices based on that premise.

Spring Copenhagen is also FSC®-certified and is proud to support an organization that promotes responsible management of the world’s forests. The FSC® certification ensures that our products made of wood or paper come from forests that are managed sustainably, taking environmental, social and economic considerations into account.

We are working towards increasing the share of FSC®-certified wood in our total production to be over 95% by the end of 2026. We also comply with the EU timber regulation from 2013. This means that we carry out due diligence procedures and measures on all shipments covered by the EUTR to ensure that the wood comes from legal sources.

At Spring Copenhagen, we value our employees, partners and society as a whole. We work closely with our manufacturers and suppliers worldwide to ensure fair working conditions and promote diversity and inclusion with our business partners.

We generally strive to maintain a high standard of environmental protection, working environment and human rights with our suppliers.

And to ensure that our manufacturers, suppliers and partners meet our requirements for responsible production, our manufacturers are associated with social compliance standards such as BSCI, SMETA, Sedex.

We attach great importance to transparency and accountability. This means that we ensure that our business methods are ethical and follow applicable legislation. We strive to make our workplace a positive one, where our employees thrive and create a pleasant working environment.
