Spring Copenhagen – Gifts that last

History

Spring Copenhagen was founded by Peter Sørensen and Claus Müller-Nielsen in October 2015.

The original idea was to find ways to challenge the established design Industry by finding older and abandoned designs and working with new, up-coming designers.

The idea came about thanks to our first product, which Peter had in his kitchen:

The Pepper Bird. The Pepper Bird is an iconic peppermill, produced in Denmark in the late 1950s to early 1960s. It was created by Sven Erik Tonn-Petersen, also simply known as Tonn-P, and has since become a symbol of our brand.

Today we are proud to be a beloved gift brand. Born from a love of good design and a desire to share it with the world. With The Pepper Bird as our first icon, we have since launched hundreds of figures and figurative objects that bring smiles, warmth, and beauty into everyday life.
