Mini seal with big, soppy eyes
The seal spends its days diving deep into the sea until the sun is just a hazy speck of light in the distance. It crawls ashore to dry itself on the rough sand as the cold wind buffets its skin.
The seal thrives best in a harsh environment, but the animal itself looks anything but tough with its
soft, furry body and big, gentle eyes.
Chresten Sommer's fascination with this animal has been poured into this portrait, which joins the other seals in the designer's series, Female seal & Baby seal.
