Good Luck Trolls: From toy to design object
The first Good Luck Troll saw the light of day back in 1957 in the small town of Gjøl by the Limfjord. It was created by Thomas Dam as a gift for his daughter. It began as a self-portrait, but when he had finished, Thomas Dam thought that the figure looked more like a troll - and that's how the Good Luck Troll was born.
