Functional minimalism for your home
The Formel series was designed in the 1970s by designer Hans Due. The inspiration for the series came from the cobbler's lamps of the time, which were widely used in everything from factories to shops, where they provided a good light to work in.
Hans Due fell for the simple design of these lamps and believed that with a few aesthetic improvements they would also fit nicely into private homes.
And so the Formel series was born back in the 1970s, and is has now been resurrected in the 21st century with our relaunch of Hans Due's design.
