FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) is a global certification scheme that guarantees that the wood comes from responsible forestry, which takes both nature and local people into account. We therefore manufacture several of our wood products in FSC-certified wood. FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) is a global certification scheme that ensures responsible forestry. The scheme deals with conditions in the world's forests with a focus on both nature and the conditions of forest workers. Wood that is FSC-certified protects the environment. Only the amount of wood that a forest is able to reproduce is felled. Furthermore, the scheme ensures good conditions for the people who work in the forest.
We always strive to improve, so we are working to achieve a wood production goal that uses 70% FSC-certified wood by the end of 2025. Our products have a small FSC mark on them, showing that they are made from FSC-certified wood.
