Omayra Maymó is an award-winning Spanish architect and designer. She aims to tell stories through her design and wants to create design products that awake connections with people on an emotional level, objects that transmit and communicate a history, and that in some way aims to move the person who experiences that object. Her work explores the natural potential of materials and their limits with the aim to bring new perspectives into the design industry and approach more meaningful and human ways of manufacturing. Her work has been exhibited in New York, Milan, London, Madrid, Barcelona, Copenhagen and Stockholm.
