Flora & Wilma
The hippo lives in Africa's waterholes. Often, all you see of it is a pair of eyes poking out the water, but now Chresten Sommer has created two portraits of the hippo so that you can admire this magnificent animal in its entirety. Their names are Flora and Wilma and they are as cute as they look.
The hippopotamus lives on the African savannah. When this large animal isn’t grazing by the waterholes and rivers, it spends a lot of time underwater. When the hippopotamus is almost completely submerged under water, it’s hard to get a proper look at it, but with a little imagination and a good dose of craft magic, Chresten Sommer has now conjured up two lifelike portraits of the animal, so that you can experience it up close.
The two hippos are called Flora and Wilma. The figurines were christened by our Facebook followers, and we think that the names suit the cute mother and youngster perfectly.
