Finding a bowl that is the perfect size can be quite an art. We think the food bowl is the answer. It’s perfect for grapes, snacks or a small portion of porridge. And good for serving dessert in for your guests. In short, the only dish you need day to day. But the food bowl isn’t just a practical and versatile bowl. Time and effort have gone into the design. It is glazed in a way that lets the stoneware peek through - a technique that also creates the discreet stripes, which are repeated along the bowl’s edge. The inside surprises with a bright turquoise glaze, which gives the bowl its distinctive character. The bowl goes perfectly with the cups from Eva Stæhr-Nielsen.

During her career, Eva Stæhr-Nielsen received a number of international design awards, in Milan, Paris, Tokyo and the U. S., to name but a few. Today, her stoneware designs are popular with collectors all over the world. Spring Copenhagen works closely with Eva Stæhr-Nielsen's family to be able to relaunch some of the unique and timeless designs she created in the years from 1932 to 1968.
