A box like no other
As a rule, we tend to be more interested in what lies inside a box rather than the box itself.But with Diplo, designer Baki Katsinis has created a design that sparks curiosity and turns the box into an independent decoration.
The desire was to design a box that feels dynamic - the solution was to divide the Diplo with a diagonal line, so that the top and bottom are the same.
This version is made of ash and painted in black, but Diplo is also available in dark stained and pure oak.
It gives Diplo a unique appearance, where the wood's veins emerge discreetly through the paint.
A design full of possibilities
At first, Diplo was intended as storage for loose paper napkins, and is ideal for this purpose.But Diplo can be used for so much more.
It’s a perfect box for storing your jewellery and watches, for your care products in the bathroom or as two separate bread trays on the dining table.
