A recreated classic for your home
We love Christmas here at Spring Copenhagen. We create designs from scratch in collaboration with current talented designers, and we search for older designs that we can relaunch with respect for the original. Phister belongs to the latter group.
The lamp was created back in the 1970s by designer Hans Due, but has been out of production for a number of years.
We thought that Phister deserved a place in the modern home, and so together with Hans Due, we recreated the lamp so that his design can once again spread light.
Discover the new features
In this new version, we have made a few adjustments that really boost its functionality.
Where the original lamp used incandescent bulbs, in this new version we have replaced the socket with an LED light. You have the option of adjusting the brightness on the on-off button, which thus also functions as a dimmer.
In this updated version, we have made Phister more mobile. We have built in a battery that you can charge with the included cable. A small diode lights up red and green respectively to indicate that the battery is either empty or fully charged. Phister is a rechargeable lamp with a charging time of 8 hours. On a full charge, it can last for up to 15 hours.
You can also use Phister as a wall lamp. At the bottom of the lamp, we have preserved the suspension from the original lamp, so that it can be used as a wall lamp. Screws for suspension are not included.
